
GradeMaker has reinstated its integration with Inspera Assessment, offering assessment providers with a complete end-to-end solution for the development and delivery of both paper and on-screen exams.
It is GradeMaker’s second integration with a QTI-standard platform, following a successful project to connect the leading e-authoring platform with Trifork’s test player in 2022.
Inspera Assessment is regarded as one of the world’s most resilient, scalable and functionally-rich test delivery systems. This new integration provides GradeMaker users with an exciting option to support their digital exams journey.
The integration also means onscreen assessment providers can benefit from the rich authoring functionality of GradeMaker — including advanced workflow, project management, version auditing, item banking, test construction, security features and an automatic typesetting module for printed exam papers.
The integration offers a seamless user experience, from commissioning exam content to delivering the final exams, in which teams can:
- develop items and tests in GradeMaker using specialist tools to improve quality, efficiency and security in the exam development process
- preview how questions will appear to candidates in the Inspera system while working in GradeMaker as part of the QA process
- publish tests from GradeMaker to Inspera at the press of a button for scheduling and on-screen delivery
- export printed paper versions of the test from GradeMaker, with the organisation’s print styling rules automatically applied and typeset in InDesign.
The integration reflects a commitment from GradeMaker’s parent organisation, AQA Global Assessment Services, to provide modular technology solutions to its customers.
