AQA extends their authoring work with GradeMaker until 2023

We are delighted to announce that AQA, one of the UK’s largest exams publishers, has decided to extend its use of GradeMaker exam authoring software for another two years.

In 2019 AQA initially adopted GradeMaker to enable them to accommodate a mix of whole paper authoring and assessment banking in their paper production. They have since seen a rapid expansion of usage and are making great progress in the transition to digital authoring.

Ruth Johnson, Senior Head of Assessment at AQA, said: “We are very pleased to be building on this positive partnership which has already brought some great results for our team. It has been a successful collaboration for us during the pandemic, making it possible for our authors to work remotely while still producing papers. We’re looking forward to the next few years with GradeMaker as we anticipate being able to implement further innovations and improvements.

David Haggie, Managing Director at GradeMaker, said: “We are delighted that AQA has decided to extend their relationship with GradeMaker at this early stage. It has always been our mission to provide the best possible tools to support the exam authoring process and it has been very encouraging to see how the team at AQA have been able to use the GradeMaker technology. We look forward to supporting AQA further as they continue on their digital journey.
